I have a '72 without PB and I am trying to determine the correct bail sticker. According to the JM, the brake code was YA in '70 and '71 and in "later" '72 it was "HC." Am I to believe that "later" means late '72, or subsequent to '70 and '71? If I have to got with the HC sticker, does anyone out there no where I can find one? I can find the others, but not that one. Thanks.

Also, the tech guide mentions that "later 72" means after serial number 25,000 to 26,000 if that helps to sort out which is correct for your Corvette. Seems key to base it on your s/n.
Having said all that and reading the manual, I interpret it to say that if you have an early 72 manual brake car, the code is ZC and if a later 72 (s/n 25,000 +) TG is stamped on the front line fitting surface with date code. but than the last paragraph on the next page seems to contradict what's written on page 84 stating tht HC is the code for late model 72s with manual brakes. I can't say this section is particularly well written.
