Why are all or most of the 61 owner's manuals 2nd edition? I have a pristine 2nd edition manual with the tearout card intact. Does anyone repro these, and can I be sure it is real if it has the tearout card? I bought it in 1991.Thanks for any help.

Re: 61 Owners Manual
William,
The majority of them were second editions because I believe Helm, Inc. made most of the re-issue manuals as second editions. It seems in 1961 that the vast majority of originals that I see are first editions. Just an observation but I've looked at a lot of 61 Manuals. The other thing I have noticed is the 1961 re-issue manuals are very close in quality to the originals. Not so for some other years. Others who watch this board have lots of experience in this area and may choose to respond.- Top
