    Issue with Winter Restorer (Question)

    Transmitting in the blind.

Greetings!! It has been just over a month since I provided my name; NCRS member number; and home address/mail address, for the purpose of obtaining a replacement copy of the defective "The Corvette Restorer," Winter 2025/Volume 51/Number 3, which I received. As an old "Baby Boomer," I always require immediate gratification; and at this juncture, this issue is "pushing my envelope." So, to whomever is willing to answer the following, I wish to provide my "sincere thanks" in advance!

QUESTION: When might I expect to receive the replacement copy??

    Best Wishes,
    Rob Vanderhoeven, 38355

Bob...we had to collect all the names of members, and they are still coming in very slowly...however last week the replacement copies were printed and mailed at the end of the week...the remaining copies were sent to me for distribution to all the members who were not on the original list (392)...so you should expect it soon...if it's any consolation, I haven't received my corrected copy yet either...please be patient...

I went online and read the missing pages. Our Presidents message and National Judging Chairman message were omitted from my copy but having the full copy online filled in the gaps.

        Vinnie--
Thank you so very much for the excellent update!! I now have a very reasonable estimated date of receipt!

        Tim--
Good scoop! An excellent "work around" until one receives the actual corrected "hard copy" of "The Corvette Restorer" magazine!

Sincere "Best Wishes" to you both!!

Personally, I'd prefer to forego the printed version altogether, and simply read it online or download the pdf. It would be nice if members had the option to decline being mailed paper copies of both Restorer and Driveline. It would save the club money, save trees, and avoid having to throw them away or save them in a never-ending pile. A simple check box in the member's profile could be used to remove them from the mailing list.
