71 Master Cylinder Piston Stop Bolt

I am in the process of attempting to rebuild, what I think to be the original Master Cylinder out of my 71 LT1.

However I have not got through the first step, removing the piston. I have removed the snap ring, stop bolt(?) from the front reservoir, and bleeders. Piston moves freely but there is obviously another stop bolt that is holding the piston. Have looked at length and at schematics with no joy.

Can anyone advise where the stop bolt (?) is for the rear piston ( closest to the firewall ) ?

There is no piston stop bolt other than the one you found in your forward reservoir. Your piston may be seized due to corrosion in the bore. You may need to use air pressure into one of the ports to force it out.

Thanks Joe,
I have worked them before and didn't recall any. Piston moves freely but seems to hit a metallic stop. Possibly something metallic slipped into the piston bore. Have to figure something out.
