Having trouble making the headlight bucket wiring harness connect with LL reproduction front 1965 (327) front lighting harness.

Has anyone else had trouble with the (three wire) connectors from the "bucket harness" not fitting into the harness which goes forward from the firewall, to the front of the body...

Tom yes i did ended up using my old plastic parts of the plug onto the new harness

Tom,

Is it the Male & Female plastic connectors?

Or the M & F terminals?

I suspect it's the metal terminals. You may have to "relax" the female terminals a bit to get all 3 males to fit better.

You can use a single male terminal(from your stash of loose singles), and test fit it into each female terminal. This will open them up a bit so they're not so tight.

Me too.
The male plastic terminal would not stay in place. What I found was that the repro harness used crappy spade terminals.
The female terminal was a bit too small for the light harness (male terminal). Very awkward to make fit.
I will leave out the name of harness manufacturer.
