1963 Head Bolt Markings

Hi,
I did a search, read that many suppliers were used over time for head bolts, but didn't see anything '63 specific on markings.
I'm having my valve guides done, the head bolts on the car now have a circle, some have an F or C in the center, not sure if they are originals, but I will change them, the motor is original to the car but was rebuilt at least once.
AMK offers either TR mark, or a circle mark, are both OK for a '63?

My 63 250 HP motor had a circle with A in center. Just use good stuff!

There is no need to replace original head bolts unless they have obvious damage, and yours sound original, but check the latest '63 JG.

Some manufacturers' head bolt specified torques actually stretch them beyond the yield point and specify a maximum length for reuse, which might be zero to a couple of times, but GM back in the day did not use this system. At specified torque they were not stressed beyond their yield strength, so they can be reused unless obvious damage is observed.

Paul, Use your old bolts. They will work and judge just fine. Save your dollars for something else on your project!!
