Location of Bracket on Heater Box for "56 & "57

There is an inverted "J" shaped bracket on '56 & "57 heater boxes. The purpose of this bracket is to keep one of the defrost hoses out of the windshield wiper cables. I have seen pictures of these brackets mounted on the front of the cardboard heater box and also on the rear. I do not have the latest judging manual for '56 & '57 so I don't know if is in there. It is not in the judging manuals that I have. Does anyone know what is correct? Thanks in advance! Brooks Glover (2141)
