    '70 Quarter Panel Trim Retaining Screws

    I was investigating the quarter panel trim of my car over the weekend and noticed the quarter panel trim retaining screws really do not screw into any type of nut or clip. Maybe mine are missing but it looks like in the picture below there is not supposed to be any nut or clip. Could someone with an early C3 verify this? Thanks.

      On my '72 the screws go directly into reinforced bosses on the back of the inside trim panel.
