67 coupe over the door weather stripping screws

On page 21 of the 67 JG in both the 7th and 8th editions, it reads "Pre-molded rubber weather stripping is installed over the door and secured to the body with 7 black oxide finish philips flathead screws ***with integral collared washers.***"

Can someone please show me a few pictures of what these ORIGINAL screws look like? Please do not show me pictures of the repro screws found on Corvette Central, Zip, etc. I'm ONLY looking for pictures of REAL production line installed screws.

    Thanks in advance.

For further discussion, is it at all possible they were black oxide hex-headed?
I last repainted the my '67 in ~1982 and do recall replacing the weatherstripping, however, I wouldn't think I'd have replaced the screws as even back then I was aiming toward reusing original parts. My car is a May 11th build and all screws are the same.

Picture of screws with integral washers on my '67. BTW, I think '63 were a one year only screw.

Could be, that's why I mentioned it was from a 63. Hold on, how many screws per side on a 67, a 63 has 7 per side.

I can see why; I zoomed on the 63 screw and the 67 screw. The 67 screw is larger in diameter at the washer part, The 63 screws must have pulled through the weatherstrip. I'm very careful when I remove and clean that area.

                  7 per side, Harry...same as '63.

Owen, all the feedback I'm getting from friends points to a screw that looks like this without an integral collared washer.

I have a theory about how/why these screws are purported to have an integral collared washer... I'll explain... To me, it looks like these screws had a flat head but did NOT have an integral collared washer under the head of the screw. I think each corresponding hole in the original weather strip had a recessed area surrounding the opening for each screw (yellow circle) and this recessed area has a slightly larger inner diameter than the outer diameter of the screw head (red circle) making it LOOK LIKE the screw had an integral collared washer. What do you guys think about this possibility?

It started to bother me, did I or did I not change the screws in the 63. I went to the box of old parts, and I located a bag and label from LIC with the screws I removed. They have no washer. Picture below.

Yah, I agree. Yesterday I realized that I wasted $45 (last week) to get some collared trim screws that aren't even right.

With the utmost respect to one whom I consider the "Fastener Whisperer", kindly consider the pictures below of the collared fasteners attaching the water diverter strip on my '67 coupe. Your thoughts are valued.
First picture of fastener installed. Second picture is the same fastener removed to get a clearer picture of the collar.
