Update on Corvette America Red Interior Dye and Duplicolor Vinyl Spray Paint

I ordered another can of Corvette America dye from Zip (first order was from Top Flight a ouple of years ago) to see if it might be any different from the results of the first order after spraying my door panels (almost pink in color with a flat finish). The rest of the interior has been done with material from Al Knoch (seats, dash, carpet, etc.). I sprayed my original center console pad with the latest dye with the same results, so I tried spraying the pad with Duplicolor Vinyl & Fabric Red and it is amazingly close to the rest of the interior. Unless someone has other suggestions, I plan to spray the door panels with the Duplicolor (after proper prep).

Fred, i restored my door panels with sems products , not sure on what colors they have but their stuff is first class and can be bought on amazon

Yep - I have some SEM Trim black for other applicable parts - might give their red a try.

I have restored a lot of interiors. For black interiors I always use Sem Landau Black. For all other interiors I have the auto paint supply shop match interior vinyl dye.

I had thought about doing that but the contact that was referred to me was unresponsive. I just finished the second panel today using the Duplicolor Vinyl Red and it is really close to the Al Knoch color and finish - much more so that the dye from Corvette America.
