Who does the best job of rebuilding water pumps?

While adjusting the carburetor on my L79 engine, the water pump shaft broke. This is the original pump (#3859326) with correct date code so I'd like to get it repaired by a reputable professional. I've read some of the past posts on suggestions for who may do the best job but I'd like to get some updated suggestions. Thanks, I would really appreciate it!

I had recently used AG for a rebuild on a ZL1 fuel pump (Camaro) and was very satisfied. As an alternate offering, I had used Hite Parts Exchange for a water pump on a 67 L36 recently. I had the pump back in 2.5 weeks.

I got Hite from a fellow deeply involved in the Camaro hobby. He has used Hite for MANY years and for far more than water pumps

Years ago I purchased an original casting rebuilt pump for my 454 from Chevy Cool. The bolt heads on the rear plate hit the timing cover because the mounting flanges were too short (due to surfacing, perhaps). On the second pump they sent the rear plate gasket leaked. The third pump did the trick. It wasn't fun doing the R&R three times.

I recently purchased a 3859326 pump from Chevy Cool for my 65 L76 with factory air. The pump was painted ready to install with gaskets. I have driven about 100 miles with no issues. Customer service was great.

Today I received my water pump back from AG Rebuilders, an 8 day turnaround! It was well-packaged and sent with 2 gaskets. Pump has been totally cleaned (I will need to re-paint it) and rebuilt - looks like new. All I have to do now is install it to confirm it works properly but I have full confidence it will.

Bill Mock in Oklahoma did my 64 6 years ago and was outstanding. His work, customer service and communication is top shelf.

I was told that Chevy Cool bought Bill Mock's inventory. I called and talked to them twice and they would never call me back regarding if they had the correct pump for my L79, so I moved on.
