Acceptable fire extinguisher for judging events

Is the Element 50 fire extinguisher acceptable for the required fire prevention at the National Convention and other level judging meets? For those who are not aware, this is a one time use extinguisher engineered for automotive and other uses and has been promoted by Jay Leno and others. Thanks. https://elementfire.com/products/ele...ct-information

Thanks Gary. You should be a politician. LOL
The element provides a 50 second discharge time which is considerably longer than the typical 5lb canister extinguisher and does work very effectively on oil, gas, etc. without leaving the usual residue some others leave behind. I keep one mounted under our kitchen sink. I am not promoting this product, just want to make sure it had not already been discussed and a determination made. BTW- I have point 1 and point 3 already taken care of. The 50th Anniversary sticker design is the best! Thanks.

Interesting question if the Element 50 qualifies for judging events. It's so different (it looks like a flare) that it may give a judge pause if he's not familiar with it.

The Leno video sold me on these and I really like its compactness. I have one in each car tucked behind the seat.

Mark, exactly. I don't want to show up with my car at the National and have someone tell me that they don't know what the Element 50 is and not award me my 3 points. I have total confidence that it will put out any possible fire and offers the convenience and smaller size. Although it can't be recharged if discharged, it has no expiration date like canisters. I think Gary Chestnut answered my question. I do have an Element Brochure that I will be taking with me just in case.

I have the element fire extinguisher in my 69 L46. I took it to Altoona Regional and French Lick national last year. One judged commented about the size and wanted to know where I got it, but otherwise I had no issues and got full credit for the extinguisher.

Richard, I figured I would not be the first to use one at a judging meet. Great to know and thanks for responding.
