Quick question on 66 Trico Arm Covers

Just want to make sure on this before trying. Can you install the above WITHOUT taking
off the arm from the spline? Just do not want to scratch things in this tight area. Larry

I don't know the difficulty of removing that cover from the arm. I'd suggest you don't try it with the arm on the car.
Removing the arm: place a LOT of masking tape (4 or 5 layers) around the hole and area to minimize/eliminate the possibility of damage to the painted surfaces

Don't even think about doing it on the car. The right tool for the job makes removal safe and easy.

Re: Quick question on 66 Trico Arm Covers

Thanks to all for the response. I'll take the arm off to install the "Trico Cover" which
came off in the operations test last weekend for the ILNCRS meet in Pontiac, IL.
Did not even know it came off and luckily found it under the car when car was reloaded
          on the trailer. Thanks Again:Larry
