Guys,
I recently completed my 69 restoration which included new tank and fuel hardware. When initially installed, the fuel sending unit leaked. I searched the forum and believe I employed most of the tips to address this, like getting an OEM "cam", an OEM O-ring, pre-soaking the O-ring, and using the official sending unit wrench to tighten. This all seemed to fix the leak, but I only had a few gallons of gas in the tank all this time. I recently took the car to the gas station and filled the tank up and the sending unit started leaking again. What are my next steps??? Do I just not fill the tank up ever again??? Thanks for any tips.
Mike
