That should be interesting. Also looking forward to seeing the late Rick Treworgy's first (67) and last (69) L-88's go through as a pair. They were part of his Muscle Car Museum in Punta Gorda Florida.

Nice video of the collection in the link below...
What confuses me a little is it's discussing a January auction back in 2021.
I guess they must not have sold all of them back then (?)

That will be interesting, I need to watch. It is only a couple hundred VIN numbers from my late one, so also in the last batch.

Joe, according to the write-up on it:"It was delivered on May 17, 1963 to Lonnie Glasscock of Corpus Christi, Texas, through Jennings Chevrolet in Robstown, Texas. Glasscock owned the car for 10 years, driving it for fun with no competition events logged."

Not quite 7 figures but not bad at all! The rare ones in excellent condition are still bringing the money.

Yes, they have appreciated far beyond CPI inflation, which would make that $32K, $88K today.

I looked at an original red/black big tank, with added 2 bar P-48's in Danville, IN in early '84 for $16,000. Mershon owned it later.
