I'd like to put this debate to rest.
I have been researching the P01 & P02 caps for a few years now. I have been through many threads here and other places.
Everyone points to P01 fin termination at the center bezel, this fact we are well aware of. What is unclear is the valve stem hole fin. Is it short like the 14" caps or long like the P02s
I have over 3 dozen P02s several Impala/Monty's and several Skylark & Camaro 14 inchers.
I restore these caps so I'm well versed on the mechanical differences. I have yet to hold a P01 in my hand.
Someone please snap several pics of a known original owner P01 optioned car showing the valve stem fin and pointed fin termination all in one picture.
The last 3 pics are what I believe to be P01s But I cant see the valve stem length.
