69 coupe door glass lower stop setting

I am installing the door glass for the first time as the car was apart when purchased. Since it appears that you cannot adjust the lower stop(s) with the vertical channels installed do I need to slide the glass in to see where it stops and then pull it all back out to move the stops or is there a better way.

Any help is appreciated. I have all new rollers and it is a power window car.
