    65-66 Power Antenna Issues

Does anyone know why my power antenna will not go all the way up or down? It is only moving about 3/4 of the way.

They are designed to close to around 13" and rise to around 50". If yours does not open fully, then the cable is frozen up on the spool, and the unit needs an overhaul.

Would that mean the cable is broken? Can I get a new cable?

my guess is most likely the cable is rusted frozen in the case. It would require an overhaul..I don't know where one would find a replacement cable, but someone here might.. The Restorer articles provided by Ken Robb previously describe the restoration process. Click the link to refer back. https://www.forums.ncrs.org/showthre...=power+antenna
