    1969 Seat Track Finish?

    Zinc phosphate or black phosphate? or?

    late Oct 1969 L46 350/350, M21 4spd, 3.70 posi convertible --As with life, restoration is a journey, not a destination. Though restored cars provide both journeys AND destinations!

      Finish varies from light to dark so it’s difficult to say… I think that you would be correct in going with zinc phosphate, but I wouldn’t be upset if they turned out darker than what Leonard posted. That’s for the bottom slide…

      The top slide is most likely natural (could be zinc plated, but I wouldn’t bet on it) which means you’re going to need to get creative if you plan on restoring them.
