Wanted to Say Adios

I joined NCRS and this board back in 2010 when looking for a C2 convertible which I eventually found and bought from a fellow in Boston, and it's been a joy ever since. Special thanks to Joe Randolf and Joe Scafidi who helped me in the search days.

I sold the car Friday--it is a 67 327/300 NOM powerglide convertible, marina blue over white and white top. Heading to Iowa shortly.

Due to a buggered up shoulder I could no longer comfortably close the top, which spoils the fun of a drive. Thus I decided to sell it--it sold in less than 3 days.

Don't feel sorry for me though, because tomorrow a 2022 Porsche 718 Boxster GTS 4.0 will be arriving by transport. So I'm excited for the new car and sad to see my C2 go which was a car I always planned to own until it died or I do.

Anyway, thanks to all here for the technical knowledge I relied on when troubleshooting issues. Happy Labor Day.

Paul, I hope you aren't leaving NCRS. I am a member of other Marque groups of cars I no longer own and enjoy them and the people. Have fun with your new find and hope you stick around! Steve

If you still love Corvettes and want to stay in touch with your buddies, keep your membership going. I'm in between Cadillacs and don't have a Pontiac at the moment, but I'm still a member of the Cadillac LaSalle Club and POCI.

If you have enjoyed all the NCRS events and activities, and made friends, it would make sense to stay connected. I dropped my MCA and SAAC memberships as I concentrated on NCRS and PCA things, but missed the people and events in the local chapters. So I bought an old Mustang and a new Shelby and rejoined to be with the people and their events.
