63 SWC: Did Chevrolet tweak the Silver Blue after 63???

Does anyone know if Chevrolet tweaked the Silver Blue 912 after 63? I'm asking because I have a 63 SWC in Silver Blue 912 - it was repainted (from dealer: "Paint taken down to fiberglass, painted 2 coats of white, 3 coats of blue, two coats of clear, 10 day dry time between coats.") - I'm assuming using the same code 912, but I can't verify. Then I recently saw a 64 coupe in "Silver Blue" which was a bit more "silver" than mine... This car may have been repainted as well - so perhaps the world will never know in the case of either car. The question, though, is if Chevrolet played with the Silver Blue out of the factory...

I have a gallon of PPG Silver Blue and a gallon of Dupont Silver Blue. Both are 1960's vintage. They are not the same color. To me the PPG has more blue and the Dupont has more silver. Also could be, bottom of the barrel vs. a new barrel. There are many variables to consider.

If you have the time, and are so inclined, here is an interesting discussion of 912A Silver Blue, which I believe was [supposed to be] the same color in 63 and 64.
