IMG_2255.jpgJim here a pic of my 63 casting number, my car is a March built. Maybe theyhad a different castings.does the block have a square plug in front by the stamp pad? Tonawanda blocks used the date (63) flints use the number (3). Could have been a different pattern. Part # tags were screwed in a machined pocket & secured with 2 screws like the date tag. You could take all the paint off to see if someone machined in another tag which is not likely. They sure look like they are cast in & the real deal.65 350 TI CONV 67 J56 435 CONV,67,390/AIR CONV,70 454/air CONV,

Yes, this is almost certainly a Tonawanda block and no such block was used for any 1963 Corvette.
The lack of the pipe plug above the timing cover that Edward mentioned will confirm it.In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top
