58 Rear End Axle Install

On a 58 Corvette are both rear axles the same width? If not which side is longer?

Thanks. I guess that's why after I installed 1 axle and went to turn the yoke, the axle wouldn't turn. I am guessing that I have this axle installed on the wrong side.

Longer shaft is the right side.

are the axles marked on the outside with any type of part number?

Not that I could see. I got them installed though
