My fuel pump failed, squirting fuel out the side vent hole. I had it rebuilt/restored by a professional service, and it looks excellent. Just one question. Should the screws for the flanges be bright plated or black oxide? Does it matter which for judging?
Thanks,
First - I have Arthur Gould rebuild all my 235 pumps - make sure they put out NO MORE than 4 psi
The screws and the pump should be a cad / zinc plated and shouldnt be real shiny
If fuel is coming out the hole - it need rebuilt -
