Re: Is Charlie Santorelli still in business
I can’t say enough of good things about Charlie. I called him a few weeks ago about restoring a set of early 69 belts. He gave me so much encouragement and advice that he talked himself out of a job! No other seat belt restorer will give you the sound and honest advice that he gave me, talked to me several times on the phone and without any consulting fee. Just such a professional, a real gentleman and easy to talk to. Thank you “Stingray”- Top

Re: Is Charlie Santorelli still in business
I also had the guy in Utah restore my 67 belts. He bought the business from Michael at America's Finest in CA. They look great and were considerably less than others. I'll reserve final judgement until they are Top Flight judged. I did send my seat side chrome and vent window frame assemblies to Charlie for exchange and restoration. Beautiful work!! He even rebuilt the vent window regulators. I couldn't be happier. You definitely have to call him between the hours he lists in the Driveline ad. Charlie told me that he was trying to cut back and possibly retire.- Top

Re: Is Charlie Santorelli still in business
Charlie restored a set of roadster vent windows for me a few years back and they are beautiful. A couple of months ago he helped me out with a the repair of a coupe vent window with a quick turn around and a fair price using NOS materials. I would use him again.John- Top

Re: Is Charlie Santorelli still in business
My two cents...Charlie is a non-nonsense guy and does great work. My take is if a customer doesn't like his price or advice, he tells you so.
He did a set of Pace Car seats belts for me and once he got those, he called to talk about the labels and other technical details, leaving the final call to me. I was quite pleased with the final work. Those belts, silver were quite dirty but cleaned up nicely with his process.
Later I had the t-top straps that needed some care. I ran it by him while attending Carlisle. He offered to clean them up for the cost of mailing, as courtesy to a former customer. Needless to say, I was impressed, knowing the positive and negative perception that floats around his work. I would use him again for sure.Tom Russo
