    1965 Rear Axle Ratios

    Black total production 23,564,
    G81 shows 19,965
    G91 shows 1,886

That leaves 1,713 left, Why are these not shown? Are they non Posi?

I would say non-posi is the answer. Positraction did not become standard on Corvettes until 1970.

The axle RPOs don't include the base axles which could be 3.36 or 3.70, depending on engine/trans combination, and all were open diff. (non-Positraction).

G91 is the "performance/cruise" axle, 3.08, open diff., that could be ordered for 250/300 HP engines with the four-speed trans option.

...same with engines. If you want to know the number of base 250 HP engines, add up the total number of RPO engines and subtract from total model year 837/867 production.
