1957 C1 Corvette door pillar metal drip gutters

I need to replace my 1957 C1 Corvette door pillar metal drip / rain cowl gutters.

Many 1957 Corvettes were dealer retrofitted with long 58-62 gutters. I understand these were never installed by the factory.
Since I really want the best part and on this car am not overly interested in originality.
I would like opinions on which gutter should I install, the early 57 style or the later C1 style?
    Thanks

I never had a problem with the gutters in my 56 Corvette. Personally, I would stick with the original gutters and not the later longer ones. There may be other opinions.

Richard, I have a Dec 1956 assembled '57 I have had since 1964 and have never had an issue---but can't say the same for tops to windshield leaks.😒🙂

        Thanks everyone.
I have decided to stay with the 57's style.
Not that I will be worried about water much. As I have owned this car for 49 years and only driven it in the rain a couple of time.
Once without the top on on the freeway. Gets the looks from other drives. VBG.
We were dry and warm. Just don't slow down below 35!

Did that with my '57 in 1967 on I69 in the rain. Kept it above 65 and not a drop. I didn't go slower-had no interest in going slower. 😄 Shouldn't have gone that fast in the rain with cheater slicks. 🙄
