63-67 Coupe Headliner Over Door Molding Trim Clip GM Part 3849130

Not having much luck finding a vendor who has GM Part 3849130 (63-67 Coupe Headliner Over Door Molding Trim Clip) in stock

I got the originals out OK - but while installing an Al Knoch replacement headliner this morning, the Driver's side clip snapped.

Any suggestions where I might find a decent replacement?
    thx,
    Mark

    Mark,

Not cheap, but an eBay seller appears to have some: eBay item # 185224061341

I broke mine when I put the new headliner in also and eliminated them from both sides without any apparent difference in appearance . I know this doesn't answer your question but it is an easy alternative . Hope this helps Jeff

        Hi Jeff,

thanks - and yes that does help.
I thought of that as I was wrestling trying to get the sucker to slide into that slot!
the halo and front A-pillar garnish molding will hold it in place nicely, but I might as well try to do it right while it's apart
        thx,
        Mark

            Thanks Jeff and Gary,

As it happens, I located one with David Sokolowski ($10) and also purchased another non-related part I needed from him so shipping from California to me in Pittsburgh would be spread across the 2 parts...

Now, let's see if I can get the next one in w/o snapping it off!
            thx,
            Mark

I am also in need of at least one clip (buying another in reserve). I contacted CC yesterday to ask availability; reply that they are searching for new supplier sources. I then contacted Keen Parts and received the same reply. I then left a voice mail yesterday morning with David Sokolowski; no call back. Later yesterday I left another VM. It appears David is our only present hope to purchase.

                Gene,

Is the eBay item I mention in posting #2 (eBay item # 185224061341) not an option? That says they have qty=2 and the eBay description indicates delivery in 2-3 days.

                Gary

Gary, I should have checked the Ebay listing and then and captured the Free shipping bonus. I just pulled up Ebay and made a purchase. In summary, less retirement funds Lol
