1966 C2 Headlights. High Beams work. Low Beams do not work.

1966 Corvette 4 speed.

Any suggestions before the digging starts.

Last year my (head lights) both low beams worked great. High beams also worked as they should.


Today, when going thru all my checks I noticed that both low beams do not light up.

However, when I press the high beam switch the high beams turn on and the red dash light come on.

The running lights work as they should also.

Has anyone had this issue before or any suggestions as what to try or may be the issue.

Use your test light to see if juice is coming to the low beam wire on the headlight bucket pigtail. That plug can be a PIA. Dirty contact, not pushed in tight enough etc. Mysterious problems are part of the fun.
