Number Of Cars Judged In Mobile

Does anyone have those numbers? Any breakdown among Flight, PV, Duntov display, Bow Tie, etc. etc?

Hi Chuck, It's been years since I asked a statistical question here, but in the past they (the stats), seemed to be quite privileged.....

I have no evil intentions, Kevin. Some friends here in Florida asked me the question, and I couldn't provide the answer. Seems like there were a lot of cars there, but I didn't know the breakdown...

          Gentleman,
I know what we had registered for the event and referenced that at the membership meeting. There were a few no shows so the finals numbers will be adjusted in the system and reported in the Restorer. Initially registered, there were 120 cars for 129 awards in Mobile. 30 Mark of Excellence Awards (20 Duntov, 2 McClellan and 8 Hill awards), 12 Preservation Awards (10 Bowtie Candidates and 2 Crossed Flags), 3 PVs, 5 Founders (3 Founders and 2 Re-founders), and 35 National Top Flights Candidates. Of the 43 Display cars 11 were MOE Displays. Thanks!!!

Chuck, I'm not sure how you made that interpretation from my reply, I was denied statistical information many times in the past, that's all I was saying.

Shannon has just shown, the changes that are occuring.....Hat's off!

Interesting almost as many Mark Of Excellence cars as flight judged cars. Not sure I have seen that before.

Thanks. I was about to ask the same question. I'm preparing an article on the convention for Vette Vues magazine and can use the data. I will publish after the Restorer comes out.

I believe we set a record for road tour participation as a percentage of total registrations at Mobile at over 25%. Usually it ranges 20-25% over the last few years.

Yes, the rebound in road tours from last year was good to see, and all were officially registered too.......
