I think many of you have experience getting your cars transported and I would like your recommendations. This is not for my Corvette and I do not need covered transportation. I want to get my regular sedan hauled to Naples, Florida from Washington DC for the winter, but I would like to deal with an actual transport company. I would like to avoid transportation brokers because I do not think they can actually assure me of an on-time pick-up.

I've never done it, but the AMTRAK AutoTrain might be an interesting option (if the Sanford FL destination is not too far to complete the drive to Naples ~200 miles; 4 hrs.)?thx,
