I have a 1970 corvette that was delivered to Wm. B. Stahl Chevrolet 365 Street Road Southampton PA 18966 and trying to figure out what the destination charge was. Any insight would be much appreciated.
Thanks-
Adam
Contact winvoices.com . When they created the window sticker for my '70 from scratch (I gave them the VIN, options and selling dealer), they knew the destination charge and when they increased during the model year. For my June 1970 car it was $57.75.
My 1970 Corvette was built 7/3/70 and shipped to Jack Amatucci Chevrolet in Wheaton, Md ( a suburb of Washington DC). The dealer paperwork shows the destination charge as $112.25 and the date of the GMAC note as 7/18/70 ( presumably the delivery date).

Given the various amounts quoted, maybe the destination charge varied with distance to the delivering dealer? Is my car's destination charge, $57.75, lower than some because its dealer in Chicago is closer to St. Louis?
In those days, shipping was a different price to each dealer, as opposed to today, when all are the same price. Dealers knew what the cost was in their location, and often factored that into the base price of the car without separating that out if you were placing an order for one to be built.
