Silverado Dipstick
While this is not a vette it is used to tow one once and a while. The general decided to save a few bucks by not installing dipsticks in the 1500 pickup . Has anyone come across a conversion kit? Thanks

Bill...I assume your talking transmission ? If so, the sealed units are temperature sensitive and easily over/under filled. Would a conversion void any warranty, I don't know -

Yes tranny John good question. But it is time to change my fluid and the dealer wants $300. We had to add fluid to my sons CTS V after he opened the wrong drain plug a few years ago. We had to make a fill line out of poly. Filling and checking the level with a pinkey through the opening in the tranny is no fun.Comment

Assume you are right but the shudder I was told after contacting my dealer was not related to a 2020 transmission !! so again I ask has anyone come across a dipstick kit for a 2020 tranny. I was not looking to beat GM out of anythingComment
