Will '92 LT1 valve cover fit 93-96?

Any issues with replacing the plastic valve covers on '93-96 LT1 engines with the magnesium (or whatever metal it's made from) covers from '92?

As far as I know, there is no problem, at all. The 1992 and 1993 LT1 cylinder heads were the same so that pretty much ensures that the 1992 valve covers will work for 1993. The 1994-96 cylinder heads were different but I don't think they were different in a way that would affect valve cover fitment. The right side cover is the same as the 1988-91 L98 right side cover. However, the left side cover is unique to 1992. Both remain available from GM.

The 1993-96 LT1 and LT4 covers were billed as of "composite" material however that differs from "plastic". Supposedly, this was done to quiet valve train noise.

Thanks Joe! I found the left valve cover, PN 10108590, on gmpartsdirect.com , but the right cover isn't listed on several sites I checked.

Do you have a favorite on-line GM parts website? Or maybe I should just go to my local Chevy dealer...

The right side cover is GM #10055782. GMPartsDirect is a good source.
