    1962 Whitewall Location

    I am ordering Auburn Deluxe tires from Diamond Back for my 1962 Corvette. They ask what whitewall width I want and how far up/outboard on the tire I want the whitewall. I am thinking 1" for the whitewall width (the manual says 7/8" to 1 1/16"), but I have no idea how far up/outboard on the tire the whitewall should be placed.


    Does anyone have a recommendation on what is the most correct/best-looking location for the whitewall?
