Thanks Patrick. I'm confused. I have the warranty booklet but no protecto-plate. The booklet identifies the vin# and the key# only. It's my understanding the protecto-plate didn't come around until '65.

Sorry, you are right that 63's don't have protecto-plates. Too bad. That would have been good information.

Here is anothe '64 built after yours. Al Grenning has certified the block stamping, TRIM, and VIN tags in 2014.
