Here's a little-known fact most people don't realize on 396 and air condition battery access door bolts. Many of them from the factory were actually grade 2 and not the ones that you saw or would see on the hood prop to Fender skirt or the upper dash frame to windshield frame bolts that are grade 5.

So instead of an anchor over tea or anchor under t they would either be a blank head or an anchor in the Middle with no grade lines.

Those centered "Anchor" grade 2 bolts are VERY hard to find. I've only found a couple in all my years of scrounging.

There's a picture of a set of battery access door bolts I remove many years ago. You can see the grade 2 centered anchor clearly on one of them while the other five it's very lightly stamped are almost nonexistent. These originals are very hard to find
