Our 72 LT1 copper radiator is missing the overflow hose clip. We've reviewed page 202 of the TIM fig. Ch 11.3 show an example of that area for a automatic transmission, but doesn't address 4 speed models. Can anyone advise the correct clip and its location. The radiator is original but has been re cored, probably unlikely to find a correct radiator tag

Re: 72 LT1 radiator overflow hose clip
I believe that correct tags "may be" coming.
I have found the clip available through other GM parts catalogs, i.e. ones for Camaro/Chevelle/etc. I don't know why Corvette vendors don't carry it.Vice-Chairman (West), Michigan Chapter NCRS

Re: 72 LT1 radiator overflow hose clip
I purchased mine thru Fusick Automotive Products under P/N ROHC687 for $14.50. Described as 1968 - 77 Radiator Overflow Hose Clip for Oldsmobiles. Can't recall off the top of my head, but I believe I had somehow traced the P/N in the AIM down to that particular part offering by Fusick. I seem to recall the switchover from the plastic captive inner fender part over to the metal clip on the radiator occurring around the start of the 1971 model year.Bill Bertelli
