Trivial- But the Fig. M 4.19 on page 120 might be confusing to some.

Re: 1968-69 TIMJG (6th Edition 2020) question
Ah...both points you make are beyond my knowledge...
I read the text and corresponding caption while looking at both images...
both of which reference the screen pattern and soldering, which the photos very nicely demonstrate IMO.thx,

Re: 1968-69 TIMJG (6th Edition 2020) question
Hi Mark- Like I said- Pretty trivial-
You are correct- the screen pattern and soldering IS very nicely represented - My question was with the air cleaner lid/decal.
1968-69 425 HP?
I thought that the only 425's were:
1966 L72, and 1971 LS6?

I could tell you it was part of a test to see who actually studies the illustrations, but that wouldn't be true. Nice going.Terry- Top

Re: 1968-69 TIMJG (6th Edition 2020) question
I have had a few people comment on this picture. Yes, I know it's a 71 LS-6 shown, but the filter element is a correct filter, a real one from the day. It's the best I could do at the time to release the 6th Edition. There's a few more pictures like that, but this one get noticed, the others haven't.
As time has gone by though, access to "that filter elemnt" has become easier (at great expense to another member), I'll take the filter out of that car, and put it another car (a 69 390HP sitting right behind it) and take a different picture next time I'm at the West Dundee Library.
Although... I have one of those filters here at the house, I could put it under my 68-triangular shaped air cleaner lid.... think anybody would notice? It would keep the charade going ??
