    c1 body shims

    Working on a late '61. With metal & fiber shims, do the fiber ones go against the body? When they taped the shims, did they go all around the shims, or just over the top to the frame rail. That seems like they could get loose and fall off . . .
    Were the shims taped twice? Also, JM says 3/4" masking tape. Quanta supplies 1/2" in their kit. Thanks for the look see.

      According to the Judging Manual, which you might want to consider buying, on page 261 it says the steel ones go against the fiberglass andall shims were taped in place on the frame with 3/4 inch beige tape
