    C2 Ride Height

I noticed my 1964 convertible is listing to Starboard in the front. Way back circa 1989 I did a frame off and recall replacing the front coil springs with, I believe, new GM replacements. The ride height appeared "perfect" at that time. Today, I see the right side is about 1 1/2" lower than the left, which is very visible if you are paying attention. In a search of other relative posts, several have commented "why do you think your springs are bad?" So, before marching on with spring replacement, I am opening up the floor for any comments or advice. Is it time for replacement or is there something else I need to examine first?

I'd start with an inspection of the right front looking for a component that may be broken. Check the ride height per your AIM to see if the problem is suspension/frame related or something failed in the body. Look closely, comparing the spacing between the spring coils, rt to left, to see if the spring has failed/fractured. Good luck.
