    61 hardtop header removal heip

Before I ruin the stainless header on my hardtop I thought I would ask for help. How do you remove the front stainless from the hardtop? There are no exposed fasteners so I think it is held on by pressure, but where do you start to remove. Thnks for any suggestions and opinions.

Ernie I haven't before but there may be some sealant under it which could make it tougher. It probably is held on just like the center clip is and snaps on.

Thanks for the help. I got everything without damaging anything, but the amount of sealant and domdom under that header stainless was ridiculous.

You still might want to checkout more Glassworks youtube videos. They show a lot of the restoration process.
