Does this RC-6 Radiator Cap Look Right?

Hi all. I just bought this service replacement AC RC-6 cap and am wondering if it should have a gasket where the bottom side of the cap interfaces with the top of the radiator neck.

Any advice appreciated.

No gasket where the bottom side of the cap interfaces with the top of the radiator neck. The seal is made at the bottom of the radiator neck with the lower gasket. Technically, the spring is pushing up on the cap and the tabs keep it retained. A gasket here would/could interfere.
