396 LH Valve Cover - no depression for Brake Booster?

Just curious to see WHAT this BB Valve Cover is for?? (maybe pass car?)

- bought it with a group of BBC Parts
- never seen one without the depression???
- few 396 BB pics I have show the normal Brake Booster depression

There where over 100 BB valve cover variation for different engine configurations and options

1) not sure IF I uploaded VC pics correctly??? Should be attached?

2) I have seen a lot of BBC VC in my day ; never saw one without any Brake Booster Indent???

Two things. It’s chrome strike one for a 65 Corvette. And two no clips on the top side for the temp sender wire.

SO...must be some BBC Pass Car application (or Truck if chrome is stripped)

If the temp sender clips are on the bottom it’s for a 68-70. As they stoped using chrome on pass starting in 71. If no clips I would think it’s a repro

IT's for 69 Chevelles and full size. 68 IS THE SAME COVER MINUS the temp wire clips because 68's had their alternators on the same side of the engine and the temp wire was part of the alt harness, it draped over to the sender.
IF the plug wire stand were to be on the other side of the top hole for the valve cover bolt the application would be Nova and Camaro the engine is much closer to the wiper motor on these two models so the wire stand is in front of the last Hole to give more clearance for aforementioned motor.
