    Hi Gary
I did go to that page.
So hard to tell when you don't know what to look for.

That could be the needle that I was looking for. As you said it goes through the firewall.

I will check it out this weekend when I have a free moment. A little tired from work tonight
I will let you know if that is the varment that has been keeping me up at nights.

    Thanks, grant

      Grant,
Here of a 71 19k mile LS5 automatic - June built car - showing the connection on the carb solenoid and the ground location on the reversing relay.

After re-reading I noticed you have PW... my car does as well... the circuit breaker mounts where you had the reversing relay, over by the Tune -up sticker.

        Hi James
Yes I have that same two holes in the side for your--- circuit breaker mounts to. I have to find that relay(put it somewhere) and the wires that hook up to it.
I may have to look at my old wire harness and check it out.

But in the first picture Gary Craig said the two wires and dual clip could be for ---Is that wire (first picture) the automatic trans kickdown switch wire?

        I still haven't a chance to take a look.
But all other relays/reverse relay and ground wire and correct wiper pod have been installed. I have to install the 5 port wiper pump.

So it is what your third picture I have to figure out and see where the wires come from and the kick down wire if it goes through the fire wall.
        I appreciate your help.
        Grant

          Grant,
Here is a link to a group of photos of the 19k mile car that you might find helpful some are when I helped him pull the radiator to have the core replaced, great ones of the original rad hoses... toying with a macro lens on some of these groups.
