1969 door switch question

I am working on a 69 coupe, which did not come with the alarm system. However it does have the alarm switches at the rear of the door, and the wiring running to it. There is no switch in the engine compartment, key switch in the rear valance, or horn. Did GM install these switches on all 69's wether they used the alarm system or not?

The rear door jamb switches serve a dual purpose. Door ajar and UA6 Alarm (when installed). believe the switch itself is different when UA6 is installed, but I am not 100% sure of that. In any case from the exterior there is no difference in the switch.

Just FYI the front door jamb switch is for the interior courtesy lights.
