70-72 Shoulder Belt Boots

P. 14 of the JG says "A vinyl boot of interior color, with the ears toward the belt latch, prevents the shoulder belt from retracting through the seat back."

Should all '70s have these boots? I ask because my '70 #12931 does not.

How is the shoulder belt installed with a boot attached? Is it squeezed through the slot in the seat somehow?

I have installed that boot after the latch is threaded through the seat. Warm it some with a hair dryer/heat gun and it will wrestle on relatively easily. What color is your interior?

Light Saddle. So all '70 cars should have shoulder belt boots?

All coupes and all convertibles with the shoulder belt option.

Color keyed to the interior color.
