With the hood fully closed, if you push down on the stuck side, can you get any downward movement? There should be some clearance there. Try pushing down first, then pulling the latch cable real hard before trying to open it. Maybe the latch is not able to fully open due to interference with the pin.

Your hood gaps are still good and you did not change any of the latching hardware, or mess with the stops before putting the hood back on right?

Gaps very good, going to remove driver assy to get a better angle to pull cable harder. Will push hood to check up / down movement

Anybody have a chain saw ??? FREE BEER for helper
