I have been chasing an electrical ignition switch wiring problem. It suddenly occurred to me that the switch in the car has an accessory position in the lock switch. It appears the sequence on the switch (turning clockwise) is Accessory, lock, off, on, start. I don't think that is correct. I cannot find a PN on the switch but I suspect it is from a different GM car. The back of the switch has the connection 1/4" faston tabs labled: Bat, sol, acc, ign, gnd. The various backing plates for the switch do not show an Accessory position. Am I missing something or does the 1961 not have an accessory postion?
Thanks,
