    Here's a link regarding those lights - https://www.forums.ncrs.org/showthre...nfig-amp-color
My 65's #147XX and #168XX don't have the external wire.

having known the car for 4 decades, i believe they came off a 47 DeSoto Dump truck.
seriously(and i have trouble being such), they are almost certainly original to your 65. i can state that the parking lite harnesses which contain three wires within the rubber insulation, came in two varieties, originals having a white, blue and violet wire, and later service replacements which had 1 violet and 2 white wires within the rubber insulation.
i'd just clean your up and re-install them. mike

I think they might be early 63 or non Corvette

GM had lots of problems with the original 63/64 design especially with grounds. My best guess is that for MY1965 engineering started to try some fixes, so these are NOT 63/64! Have posted a typical 63/64 assembly, note the FULL boot over the light socket.

The light with green wire is from a 1965 "396" which is a Bowtie Car (Dick contact Bill in chapter) sorry about the poor picture, but it's the same as Dick's ps thanks for pictures

These changes varied, so do not expect to see only an external green wire (have one with white & other colors exist)
Changes continued till GM settled on pn 910552, NOS shown - production did not have tag.
There have been at least 4 different pn. Other changes are just toooo many to list here, but it's only a parking light!

I did read a paragraph in Noland Adams book Vol 2 , page 266, left side of the page which references these lights

Mike: I have GRAY, WHITE AND VIOLET for three wires on some of the NOS versions of 910552. Amber lens; Front parking light. I have not seen two white wires (on the same part).

tom: i;'ve got a pair of parking lite assemblies i purchased over the chevy counter in the early 80's. one still in the box which has never been opened. the other box i opened recently. this lite has a pair of white wires and a violet wire. except for not having a blue wire in place of one of the white ones, these old NOS lites are identical to the original lites i recently took off 65 vin 9302, a 20K mile car i bought in 1970. the originals are white, blue and violet. regards, mike
